Looking for a safe, convenient and cozy way to bathe and dry her baby, Debra took to putting her bathrobe on backwards like a smock. One day she realized a terry cloth cape with a waterproof layer would be perfect for this task. Debra designed and invented the Spa Time Baby Cape! She had lots of ideas for other Spa Baby products, so she sought out her long time friend Leslie who could take Spa Time Baby to the next level. Leslie's entrepreneurial expertise and penchant for detail and organization have been the fuel for the success of Spa Time Baby. The book Mommy Millionaire by Kim Lavine also provided much guidance to the pair! Debra and Leslie both hold master's degrees in counseling and worked together as elementary school counselors for 7 years. Debra and Leslie are the co-owners of Spa Time Baby LLC.
